Like many locations in northern Oaken (Northeast
Ohio),
the site is easy to find if you've been there before.
If not.... pay close attention to the directions below.
DO NOT follow the directions from MapQuest or Google Maps - they will lead you astray!
Minion Acres is in Eastwatch, Middle Kingdom,
12842 Route 6 (Chardon Road)
Chardon, Ohio 44024
10 minutes south of I-90,20 minutes east of I-271
From all points North - take I-90 to Route 44
Exit at Route 44 (exit 200) and head South (left)
Go south about 7 miles until you reach Chardon town square.
Continue straight as Route 44 becomes Route 6 East.
Go about 1.3 miles.
Minion Acres is on the left as you reach the top of the first hill.
(Look for the picturesque white board fences. Gravel drive on right.)
From the West and Southwest - take I-271 North to I-90 East
(and then double back on 44 South)
Construction Update:
There is construction on ALL major and minor routes to the west
of Chardon this summer.
Although it may seem easier simply to go to New York and approach from
the east,
the following tips should help you navigate approaches from the west and
south.
There is construction on I-90 eastbound after you pass through
downtown Cleveland.
Avoid rush hour and the disruption will be minimal.
From the Southwest, DO NOT take Wilson Mills OR Mayfield Roads!
These used to be our preferred route from the south and southwest,
but they are both *completely* closed at one point and there is no simple
detour.
Due to construction planned (through August) for the Mayfield Road exit
on I-271,
we are now recommending those approaching from the southwest
follow I-271 North to I-90 East. (They can't close *that* down completely!)
Exit I-90 at Route 44 (exit 200) and head South
Go south about 7 miles until you reach Chardon town square.
Continue straight (do not circle the square) as Route 44 becomes Route 6 East.
Go about 1.3 miles.

From the East - take Route 6 towards (but not to) Chardon
Take Route 6 towards Chardon. Minion Acres is on the right,
about two miles past Hambden
(junction of Route 6 with Route 608 or Route 166).
If you reach Chardon, you missed it.
Go around the square and go back the way you came about 1.3 miles.

From the South - take Route 44 to Chardon
Go to the Chardon town square,
turn right and then left to go around the square,
then turn right, following Route 6 East.
Go about 1.3 miles.
Minion Acres is on the left as you reach the top of the first hill.
